SSL2048 considers the privacy and protection of its clients' personal data to be of utmost importance. To ensure that you feel confident about providing us with your personal information when communicating with us and using our services, we outline below our practices in relation to the collection and use of personal data. The information you provide to SSL2048, will enable us to initiate your SSL Certificate order request for Certificates you purchase through SSL2048 as a Partner/Reseller of Symantec, GeoTrust or Thawte Certificates via Symantec's unified Partner/Reseller Portal. SSL2048's Partner/Reseller program with Symantec allows our clients to centralize certificate management via the Symantec® ISP Center, an intuitive Web-based interface.


All sensitive certificate-based information is stored by Symantec, on secure systems, backed up across multiple servers and stored in military-grade, geographically distributed data centers.

SSL2048 will not share your Personal Data with anyone outside SSL2048 group of companies with the exception of Symantec, Thawte and GeoTrust that binds you by the Symantec SSL Certificate Subscriber Agreement as per the following link: : click here

SSL2048 will only use the information you submit to us for the sole purpose of order fulfillment through the Reseller Partner program entered into with Symantec, now a Symantec Company. Please use the following link to view Symantec's Reseller Agreement with SSL2048: : : click here

The information provided to SSL2048, will be kept highly confidential and will not be used for any other purpose other than to carry out the Order fulfillment and Certificate enrollment process.


Any personal data you provide to us is securely stored in a database held by SSL2048 Inc. Through Certificate enrollment, all sensitive and confidential certificate-based information provided by our clients is stored by Symantec, on secure systems, backed up across multiple servers and stored in military-grade, geographically distributed data centers. We have put in place administrative measures to ensure that the access which SSL2048's employees have to personal data on our server is limited to the extent necessary in order to perform their functions.

All our employees are required to sign a confidentiality agreement in which they agree to treat personal data as strictly confidential. The server holding your personal data is protected against both unauthorised physical and electronic access. These measures include an electronic firewall and various other protection measures that involve virus scanning, installation of security patches, vulnerability testing, backup and recovery planning, employee training, security audits and other steps designed to constantly improve the data protection posture. The Server is not directly connected to the Internet, and data is therefore available only to authorised computers.


While we will not voluntarily disclose your personal data we may disclose such information if we are required to do so by a Court Order, if we are requested by government or law enforcement authorities, if we are required to do so pursuant to other legal processes, or if it becomes necessary to protect the rights or property of SSL2048 Inc.
